We have summarized for you here the differences between our dog caves, orthopedic dog beds and cushions and what else you should pay attention to when choosing a dog sleeping place.

Every four-legged friend needs their ideal retreat to recharge their batteries. Or would you want to do without your warm bed with a soft pillow when sleeping? It is also important for animals to have a restful sleep in a comfortable bed - perhaps even on an ortho dog pillow - in order to be properly fit for new adventures the next day.
A dog cave with a roof is particularly suitable as a soft sleeping place for four-legged friends who freeze quickly (especially for dogs without an undercoat or with short fur). Small dogs and large dogs can quickly warm up again at any time in the cozy interior of the snuggle dreamer. The cave with a roof is a safe haven for anxious dogs. If things get stressful for them, they can hide there and watch the hustle and bustle from outside. And then there are the dogs who – like us humans – just can't calm down after an exciting day. This is especially true for young dogs, puppies and those who live in a busy household with children or other pets. They can retreat and relax in the protection of the soft cuddly cave as a dog sleeping place.
After a long day, we look forward to finally being able to relax comfortably and softly on the sofa or in bed. For dogs, the perfect reward after a long walk is to take a long nap - in a warm and secure dog sleeping place. Not only dogs sleep better with snuggle dreamer cuddly caves, but also their owners. You don't have to get up again at night to tuck the shivering dog back in his sleeping place or to make room for him in his own bed. And even if we love our dogs, being woken up in the middle of the night because our dog can't calm down can be quite sleep-depriving. Snuggle dreamer dog caves are primarily tailored to the needs of dogs and are functionally designed - but of course also suitable for cats. And at the same time they are real design highlights. Because it is important to us to manufacture our products exclusively from high-quality and durable materials.

A snuggle dreamer cuddly cave consists of three parts: the duvet cover, the inner pillow (also available as an ortho dog pillow made of memory foam) and the tube that keeps the entrance open and allows your dog to climb into the cozy cave with a roof and cover yourself up independently.
The duvet covers are available in different versions, colors and materials. We have decided to only use synthetic fabrics so that the snuggle dreamer is less sensitive to dirt and odors. The covers are also removable and washable in the washing machine at 40 degrees and can then be dried in the dryer (the only exception: CaptainFluffy, please only ventilate in the wool program at a low temperature, otherwise the fine synthetic hairs will melt). Because hygiene is a must when sleeping! Thanks to the snuggle dreamer easy-clean coating on the SuperfyZipOff, FreshCave, CaptainFluffy and Velvetino models, these caves are not only easy to wash, but light dirt can also be easily removed with a damp cloth.
The inner cushion is available in two versions with different fillings: either filled with cold foam flakes or as an ortho dog cushion. Pillows with cold foam flakes always return to their shape (even after long naps). For comparison: Unlike other dog pillows with smooth fibers, cold foam flakes ensure that snuggle dreamer dog pillows remain voluminous for much longer and the dog sleeping area does not collapse. And by the way: You can also individually determine the filling capacity of the pillow thanks to a zipper.
The Ortho dog pillow is filled almost exclusively with visco foam flakes (memory foam) and a tiny amount of polyester curls to make it easier to shake. This comfortable orthopedic memory foam is comparatively very pressure-relieving for the spine and joints and has therefore been used in memory foam mattresses for us humans for years (and also in ortho sleeping pillows). The Ortho versions are perfect for senior dogs, dogs with osteoarthritis or spine and joint problems and anyone who likes to be really comfortable. If necessary, this dog cushion can also be kneaded properly so that the visco foam flakes are released again, it remains nice and fluffy and does not collapse.
Our dog caves are available for small and large dogs in size M, size L and in the particularly large sizes XL and XXL. Starting with a diameter of 65 cm, over 89 cm up to the dog cave XL and dog cave XXL with a diameter of 130 cm for four-legged friends with a back length of up to 90 cm, i.e. very large dog breeds such as Ridgebacks.

For puppies, it is best to order the size that will best fit the adult dog. This means your new companion can enjoy his snuggle dreamer for a long time.
Every dog is different, but there is a snuggle dreamer cave for everyone. We have very different models and variants that you can choose from and, depending on your wishes, you can also equip all of them with an orthopedic dog cushion or mattress.
The snuggle dreamer dog caves also differ in terms of the degree of warmth. Our models are particularly warm dandy denim with plush cover, SuperfyZipOff and Velvetino. The models Captain Fluffy and JiggiLove are well suited for animals with a medium need for warmth the FreshCave cave is for all four-legged friends who like it a little more airy for a siesta. We have many different materials, colors, sizes - so far every dog has found the right cave. And of course you should also ask yourself which dog cushion is the right one inside – standard or a cushion for an orthopedic dog bed. Especially if your pet is a little older and has joint or spine problems, an ortho dog pillow is definitely the best choice.
In addition to the needs of your four-legged friend, where the cave should be located also plays a role in choosing the right sleeping place: inside or outside? Because in the garden or on the terrace, a more robust and optionally water-repellent or weatherproof material for outdoor caves is of course a must! And even if the dog's sleeping place is in the apartment or house, the material should at least be washable, as dog paws naturally get dirty quickly.
Fortunately, all snuggle dreamer dog cushions, dog baskets and cozy caves are machine washable. This means your darling always has a clean place to sleep. If dog hair bothers you, we recommend matching the color of the look - the outer material and especially the vegan inner fur - to the dog's fur. Dog hair is almost invisible. It all started with the snuggle dreamer cuddly cave - but we have constantly expanded our range since then. First with the “topless” versions of our caves: CaptainFluffyTopless and FreshTopless – our dog cushions or dog beds without a blanket in sizes M, L, XL and XXL (for very large dogs). An ortho dog basket or dog cushion or dog bed is equipped with a soft memory foam cushion in the lying surface. These dog beds have been specially developed for the needs of dogs with high demands.
